I started this website 10 years ago as a teenager, with a small Blogspot site and a little bit of custom coding. In 2016 I transitioned it to WordPress using the Genesis framework and a premium child theme, which was a huge improvement but lacked to customizations I wanted to implement.
In 2020 I transitioned the site to using the Divi theme which I had more experience with, and developed my own custom child theme to meet the needs of the evolving site. This entailed doing an in-depth analysis of the existing site, evaluating the behavior of site visitors, developing a new website design plan based on the existing brand style guide, sketching, wireframing, and implementing my design plans.
