I got to go on an excursion this past week to visit family in western Washington and had a fantastic experience! I got to capture some great photos all over the place, and got to take some fantastic portraits of my family members. We took some indoor shots with a combination of window light and lamp light. The outdoor shots were taken at the beach at Tolmie National Park, and out in the woods behind our house in DuPont, WA. I shot mostly in manual so I could get the light balance just right between the aperture and shutter speed, and I’m happy with the results! I made minor edits to the lighting to bring out the highlights and shadows.
